My Dad’s 70th and last Birthday on earth RIP
Although my Dad has been called away to his new home in Heaven….I thank God for the time that He allowed me to have my father here on earth! My Dad was a no nonsense type of guy! But he would give U the shirt off his back and request nothing in return! Dave Bracy Sr. Was the best father that a Girl could ever have! A white gunman opened fire during a prayer meeting inside a historic black church in downtown Charleston, S.C., on Wednesday night, killing 9 people in what officials describe as a hate crime. The suspect, 21-year-old Dylann Roof, was captured by police in North Carolina on Thursday.

Names of victims released: At a press briefing, Charleston County Coroner Rae Wooten released names and ages of each of the 9 victims of Wednesday’s church shooting:
• Cynthia Hurd, 54, a manager with the Charleston County Public Library system.
• Ethel Lance, 70, a retiree who recently worked as a church janitor
• Rev. Clementa Pinckney, 41, a South Carolina state senator and pastor at the church
• Susie Jackson, 87, a longtime member of the church
• Depayne Middleton Doctor, 49, former Charleston County community development director
• Sharonda Coleman-Singleton, 45, a church pastor, speech therapist and a high school girls’ track coach
• Myra Thompson, 59, a pastor at the church
• Rev. Daniel Simmons, Sr., 74, another pastor at the church
• Tywanza Sanders, 26, a 2014 graduate of Allen University, where Pinckney was also an alum
Autopsies will be performed on each victim, Rae said.
“It is obvious all these individuals suffered gunshot wounds,” she added, “and that is how these individuals died.

I’m originally from Florida, so we have traveled to Florida on Vacation a million times! Therefore, needless to say my Daughter is burned out on Disney and Universal Studios! This is my Daughter’s Senior Year in High School and she is asking to go somewhere different, other than the usual Spring Break Spot of Panama City Beach (PCB).
So in true Go 2 Rose fashion, I began to look for somewhere different to Vacation. I came across the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I know what your thinking “Mississippi?” “Vacation, New Orleans Spring Break?” I was thinking the same thing!!! However, I was pleasantly surprised. The Missisppi Gulf Coast is lined with beautiful White Sandy Beaches and Biloxi is like a mini Vegas and April is a great time to Visit New Orleans because the French Quarters Festival was held on the 2nd week of April this year! Great Place to Vacation!!!
So I’ll final stop on Spring Vacation is New Orleans Beeeeby!!! We stayed at the Sheraton Hotel in Metairie, just outside of New Orleans. This Hotel is not as Fancy Smancy as the Golden Nugget, but that okay because most of our time in New Orleans was spent outside the Hotel! I love most things to Sparkle and Shine! However, my nose is definitely not one of them!! I have tried everything from Finishing Powder to Rice Paper, which all work pretty well. However, I found myself having to keep touching up or blotting numerous times throughout the day! Uugh! So one day while I was messing around in the mirror a light bulb went off! -DING- Powder fight offs moisture and Alcohol dries out oil! Sooooo….I decided to mix a little of both in my hand. It formed a loose type of paste. I then placed it on my nose. Once on my nose, it immediately dried “white” but don’t be alarmed once you apply liquid foundation it becomes invisible. (Powder Foundation will NOT work with this method). To my surprise, I went all day with a perfectly matte & unshiny snout! Every Christmas Season; I head down to Neiman Marcus for the After Christmas Sale! To avoid the Holiday Crowds; I usually park in the parking Garage downstairs near the Neiman Marcus Cafe’. However last year, I decided to stop by the Neiman Marcus Cafe’ for lunch with my Daughter (Diamond) and My oldest Brother (Anthony).
