What’s the Tea Sis? ☕️

Hello my Rose Buds! Since we’ve been stuck in Quarantine Land, I now have a little more time to get back to blogging! So last week, I decided to dedicate Tuesdays to one of my favorite drinks…Tea 🍵 (check out my previous post)

Last week, we tried Adagio’s Cotton Candy 🍭Tea, which I absolutely loved. 😍 This week, the adventurous flavor is Make A Wish Birthday Cake Tea🎂😋

Make A Wish Birthday Cake

How I prepared? This is a loose leaf tea.🍂 Therefore, I used tea infusers with kettle-boiled water to steep. As you read in my last post, I almost always prepare my tea with cream or milk, and honey. I used Leaner Creamer Original with my Make A Wish Birthday Cake Tea. Leaner Creamer is quite expensive. However, I purchased mine on sale at Home Goods in the food section. The honey I used was Golding Farms Raw Organic Honey 🍯

So what did I think? I was a bit nervous when I saw cherries, because I hate cherry flavored drinks! 😝 However, I was pleasantly surprised with the sweet chocolate flavor of this tea! Plus, it has sprinkles! How super cute is that?!!

Would I purchase again? Yes, and I recommend purchasing from Adagio Teas. They have very affordable cute little sample tins, that you can purchase to get a feel for the tea. That way, you can determine whether you like it or not without breaking the bank! Plus, they sent me 5 days of sample teas to test and discuss with their online CommuniTEA. BTW, we’ll discuss those sample teas soon.

Product Alert!!!!

Hey Dolls and Divas!!

As a teen, I never really experienced acne issues with exception of a few pimples during “That Time of Month”  However,  during my pregnancy and after I had my daughter I experienced Horrible Acne.  After trying everything under the sun (including prescription Meds) I found this product at Walmart for $21.00 GREAT DEAL for all that you get!!  Anti – Acne Cleansing Wash, Corrective Toner, Maximum Repair Strength Lotion,  and Retinol Complex Repair!!  Worked excellent for my Acne!  I’ve since switched to another regiment because, I no longer have major acne issues. However, I still purchase Acne free for my daughter and I often use the Retinol Complex because Retinol is a great Anti-Aging ingredient!

All Sounds Great?!?  Well I have even Greater News!!! The Local Five Below on  Hwy 92 in Woodstock, GA In the Super Target Shopping Center has Acne Free for ONLY $5.00!!!!  That’s a $16.00 Savings!!!! Not sure if the other Five Below stores in your area has them in stock but its well worth the call to check….Oh and I was a little leery about the Acne Free being so cheap. Therefore, I checked the expiration date and NO it’s NOT EXPIRED!

Rose’s Remix / Combat Nose Shine!

Hello Diva & Dolls!!

I love most things to Sparkle and Shine!  However, my nose is definitely not one of them!!  I have tried everything from Finishing Powder to Rice Paper, which all work  pretty well.  However, I found myself having to keep touching up or blotting numerous times throughout the day!  Uugh!  So one day while I was messing around in the mirror a light bulb went off!  -DING-  Powder fight offs moisture and Alcohol dries out oil!  Sooooo….I decided to mix a little of both in my hand.  It formed a loose type of paste.  I then placed it on my nose.  Once on my nose, it immediately dried “white” but don’t be alarmed once you apply liquid foundation it becomes invisible. (Powder Foundation will NOT work with this method). To my surprise, I went all day with a perfectly matte & unshiny snout!  Follow these instructions for a Super Simple way to REMIX Baby Powder and Alcohol to make Anit-Shine Weapon for your nose.

  • 1) Sprinkle a few dabs of Baby Powder (Any Brand will Work / Cornstarch or Not) into your a free hand.
  • (2)  Dab a few small drops of Alcohol (I like the Evergreen Kind / But any will work) on top of the powder that’s already in your other hand.
  • (3) Take you finger (on your free hand) and mix the alcohol and powder together to form a loose paste.
  • (4) Immediately rub a thin layer of the paste on your nose.
  • (5) Once completely dry / dust off any excess powder or clumps.
  • (6) Complete by blotting liquid foundation on the nose (using a foundation brush) I recommend the Sonia Kashuk Foundation Brush found at Target stores
